OUR OWN CANADIAN CHAMP

Olivia Bouffard Nesbitt is the new Junior Canadian Champion, winning the title at the Canadian championships in Canmore, Alta., March 11-19. She took gold in the 10 km classic (placing fifth overall in this mass start event, just 34 seconds behind Chandra Crawford), silver in the 20 km freestyle (skate), bronze in the 1.2 km classic sprint, and fifth in the 5 km skate.
